The Poinciana Area Council had a chill time at their latest Business 2 Business networking event. Those who came out to Valencia College’s Poinciana Campus on September 18th enjoyed a comedy set from Laughs for the Troops and massages from Riviera Spa Massage.
Relaxation, health, and wellness are important to keep us running both during the work day and on our personal time. Taking time to relax or pamper yourself with entertainment, massage therapy, or a healthy meal is important to our everyday life. The veterans supported by Laughs for the Troops have found respite from PTSD and other combat-related afflictions through comedy and comradery. Having a good laugh can be a remedy for simple daily stresses as well. A full body massage can also go a long way in keeping your body circulated and your mind focused.
In addition to laughter and relaxation, attendees at Wednesday’s event were given an opportunity to support our neighbors in the Bahamas with hurricane relief donations. PAC has assembled a pretty solid haul so far, and will be collecting again at their PoincianaFest on November 2nd.
Thanks for this event go to the PAC Board of Directors, Valencia College for being great hosts, and CenterState Bank for donating a $25 gift card raffle prize.
