Last Update Monday, March 23, 9:07 am.
Update Friday, March 20, 2:35 PM: Governor Ron DeSantis has issued Executive Order 20-71, banning all Florida restaurants from serving food or alcohol on premises, but establishments can stay open to fulfill delivery or take-out orders. The list below has been edited accordingly.
This order also lifted a restriction prohibiting the sale of packaged alcohol for delivery or take-out. Alcohol with food that is picked up or delivered will now be permitted with presentation of I.D.
Many of our local dining establishments have altered their policies and procedures, but are still open for business. Most have take out or delivery services available, and many have waived delivery fees. Several others are available for delivery through Ubereats, which has also eliminated delivery fees. Many others have set up curbside pick-up, pop—up drive thrus, etc. Most encourage credit payment, or pre-payment via mobile or app where available. You might also consider purchasing a gift card to be used at a later date. Proceeds from gift card purchases can help out smaller establishments in the short term and give you a night out to look forward to in the future. However, be mindful that while gift card purchases for some chain establishments will still aid the corporate bottom line, they will not directly impact our local locations.
Below find a list of our restaurant members, their operational status as of March 19, and links for online ordering. Please consider supporting them if you are able with take out, delivery, a gift card purchase, or even a donation. Thank you for helping us be “Champions for Business and Community.”

On February 27th the Poinciana Area Council held their first Business 2 Business event of the year at oTech’s Poinciana Campus. Attendees had time to network and get to know other business leaders via a game of “Networking Bingo.” Attendees toured the campus, learned about oTech’s comprehensive programs in everything from hospitality to cosmetology, and enjoyed treats from the school’s culinary program.

oTech even supplied a popcorn popper and cotton candy machine to create a mini-fair in the parking lot! The slightly chilly weather and stronger-than-usual winds didn’t stop those in attendance from having a good time.

The graduating cosmetology class put on a prom fashion show to share their spring formal looks, and they even crowned a prom queen!

The night ended with a raffle for items including a $25 gift card courtesy of CenterState Bank.
