Like so many businesses, our financial institutions have hadto adapt their operations to accommodate social distancing. Some may be offering payment deferrals orwaiving of fees in certain situations. Hereare some updates from our local banks.
Bank of America
Bank of America's lobbies are open 10 am to 4 pm. They are pausing mortgage and loan payments if a client calls to initiate the pause. They are also eliminating overdraft charges if a client calls to ask.
BB&T
BB&T banks are open Monday thru Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm. Business inside the building is by appointment only. Friday hours are 9 am to 6 pm by appointment only. Currently loans and lines of credit are currently as usual.
Centennial Bank
Centennial Bank's drive thrus are open from 8 am to 5 pm. They do not have any special COVID-19 related offerings right now.
CenterState Bank
CenterState Bank is open Monday thru Friday by appointment only. Their drive thru hours are 8 am to 6 pm. Their loans and lines of credit are as usual.
Trustco Bank
Trustco Bank is operating under their usual hours, but limiting the number of people in the lobby at a time. Their drive trhu is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
Most of our local attractions are currently closed following the county-wide orders issued in Osceola and Orange counties. Check back here to find out when they will reopen. In the meantime, visit their websites to book visits on a future date, or to purchase a gift card to use for a future visit. Maybe consider giving the gift of a future attraction visit for upcoming birthdays or holidays? Finally, some of these attractions have gotten creative and now offer virtual experiences via their websites or social media. Gay Days

Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens
Island Grove Wine Company is closed until at least May 1, but you can follow their QuaranWine Chronicles, which includes fun wine-themed ideas while social distancing, on their Facebook page.
Island H2O Live!
Island H2O Live! is currently closed. You can check out their great deal on season passes, however, and start preparing for a full year of fun visits later on.
Maxflight Helicopter Tours

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Medieval Times is currently closed, but you can find fun interactive videos on their YouTube page.
Museum of Military History
The Museum of Military History is closed. You can take a virtual tour of the museum with videos and exhibit images on their website or app. Check out the tour or download the app here.
Old Town
Old Town's retail locations are currently closed, but their restaurants are open for takeout or delivery, and many of them have special offers available. See a list of open restaurants and offers here.
Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park
Orlando Tree Trek Adventure is currently closed. You can view pictures and videos and purchase a gift card for a future adventure on their website.
Osceola Arts
Osceola Arts has cancelled their next two productions. You can check out some fun videos promoting their past productions at their YouTube page.
Osceola County Welcome Center and Museum
The Welcome Center and Museum is closed until further notice, but their website includes fun and educational information on the history of Kissimmee, Osceola County, St. Cloud, and Narcoosee. You can also shop at their online store.
Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek
The Pioneer Village is closed until further notice. However, Osceola History is sharing fun coloring pages of some of their historic buildings over on their Facebook page.
Revolution - The Off Road Experience
Revolution Off-Road is currently open.
Walt Disney Parks & Resorts
Walt Disney World's four theme parks and two water parks are closed indefinitely. Disney Springs and its shopping, dining, and attraction locations are also closed.
Disney has created a whole new site called DisneyMagicMoments.com that features special story readings, virtual entertainment and visits to attractions, and a whole new cartoon featuring Olaf!

Wild Florida

We have always known we have amazing hospitals and healthcare professionals here in Osceola County and Central Florida, but the past few weeks we have really seen them shine. We have spoken with our local hospitals and here are the things they want you to know.
AdventHealth
Phone Line
In an effort to equip the public with the facts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, AdventHealth is launching a free phone service for Floridians who have questions about the virus and will provide an opportunity to speak with a nurse as appropriate.

Visitor Policy
Effective Monday, March 23, no visitors for socialization purposes will be allowed inside AdventHealth hospitals in Central Florida. They encourage patients and their loved ones to remain closely connected through virtual tools, including Skype, FaceTime and the telephone.
Visitation will be continued for special circumstances, such as if the visitor is the power-of-attorney or medical decision-maker. Visitation will also be permitted in end-of-life situations. Other exceptions and additional guidelines include:
Elective Procedures & Surgeries
As they anticipate the increased need for hospital beds and resources, and advocate for patient and team member safety, AdventHealth will limit the surgical care of patients to those whose needs are imminently life threatening, with malignancy that could progress, or with active symptoms that require urgent care.

Orlando Health

Orlando Health has also launched a hotline for patients and the community to obtain information about COVID-19. By calling (877) 321COVID (877-321-2684), consumers can get accurate information about COVID-19 from trained Orlando Health representatives. The Orlando Health COVID-19 Hotline will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for as long as the resource is needed.
Osceola Regional Medical Center
Osceola Regional Medical Center has enhanced their safety precautions with limited entry ways and is conducting visitor screening. As of Saturday, March 21, they have implemented additional visitor restrictions to further ensure the safety of those they care for. At this time, visitors are not permitted into the hospital and this includes external campuses such as the Hunter’s Creek ER and Millenia ER. Limiting visitors helps reduce the risk of infection, and helps us protect patients and staff.
Exceptions will be made for the following circumstances:
• Patients arriving early for scheduled surgery or other procedures may enter the west Main Entrance beginning at 5:00 am
• Behavioral Health – No Visitors, except by appointment only
• Pediatrics – 1 Adult Parent or Caregiver
• NICU – 1 Adult Parent or Caregiver
• Laboring Moms – 1 Visitor over 18 years of age
The hospital will deliver items such as phones, tablets, chargers, etc. to patients if a loved one leaves it at the main entrance. Food may not be delivered to patients from outside the facility. Food service will continue to be offered inside the hospital. Osceola Regional encourages loved ones to use technology such as FaceTime and other apps to communicate with patients in their care.
Poinciana Medical Center
Poinciana Medical Center has implemented enhanced safety precautions including limited entry ways and visitor screenings. They have also now implemented additional, temporary visitor restriction guidelines. Effective Friday, March 20, 2020 at 8:00 pm, visitors are not permitted into the hospital. Exceptions will be made for the following circumstances with one visitor per patient:
• Dedicated adult caregiver for surgery &/or testing
• Dedicated adult caregiver for emergency room patients
• Patients who utilize a legal guardian
Further exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis, including end-of-life patients.
St. Cloud Regional Medical Center
St. Cloud Regional Medical Center is taking proactive steps to prepare for the protection of patients, our caregivers and the community. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which is equipment designed to protect workers from hazards, has become a nationwide shortage issue.
They are looking for donations of PPE from sources that may have them, but may be operating on reduced hours or have even temporarily closed their doors.
