Some call us print shop. Some call us exhibit builder. Some call us creative design agency. This year people come to us for sneeze guards. We, at Chroma Imaging, are creators of visual communication with great passion. It is fortunate to be able to say we love what we do and have fun doing it.
Chroma Imaging is a full-service graphic design and production company specializing in large format printing and custom visual solutions. Our strength is finding solutions to your visual communication needs with your timeframe and budget.
Our husband-and-wife founders started with one printer and one laminator in a storage room at a warehouse about ten years ago in Northern Virginia. Our goal was to create eye catching design and print high quality graphics in short turnaround for the tradeshow industry while saving our clients’ money. Today we have two locations, Kissimmee, FL and Herndon, VA with our many “toys,” equipment, or machines (as others call them) including UV flatbed printers, CNC, and laser cutter. We now have more capabilities and a talented team, but our vision and goal stay the same – help other businesses grow and succeed by creating everlasting experiences and trusting long term relationships.
While the Tradeshow and events industry has taken a pause due to COVID-19, we have been working hard to support local businesses, schools, and medical facilities in their efforts to reopen safely by providing PPE; Sneeze Guards, Car Partitions, Room Partitions, Student Desk Shields, and Social Distancing Floor Graphics.

With the sudden onset of COVID-19, the the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber did what many of our member businesses and peer organizations did and moved much of our communications, meetings, events, and general connection with our members to an online platform. Beginning April 1, we launched a weekly “Wednesday Livestream” on our Facebook page to connect our members and Facebook followers with community leaders and experts as we navigated the uncharted territory of Coronavirus. On July 1, we launched our new “15 Minutes Series,” which will continue in our Wednesday morning timeslot with 15 minute presentations or conversations featuring community leaders and elected officials, practical applications for businesses, topcis to inspire business professionals and entrepreneurs, timely topics for our members and community, and occasional bits of fun. Beginning July 1, we launched our virtual “15 Minutes” Series live on Facebook on Wednesday mornings. As of Friday, April 16, the Osceola County CARES Act grants for small businesses are closed. We will share an update if it re-opens.
As of Monday, April 5, all Floridians age 18 and older (and 16 + in some cases) are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines.
Employee Retention Tax Credit
The Employee Retention Credit is a refundable tax credit against certain employment taxes equal to 50% of the qualified wages an eligible employer pays to employees after March 12, 2020, and before January 1, 2021. Eligible employers can get immediate access to the credit by reducing employment tax deposits they are otherwise required to make. Also, if the employer’s employment tax deposits are not sufficient to cover the credit, the employer may get an advance payment from the IRS.
Employers are entitled to tax credits for providing paid leave to employees who take time off related to COVID-19 vaccinations
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) allows small and midsize employers, and certain governmental employers, to claim refundable tax credits that reimburse them for the cost of providing paid sick and family leave to their employees due to COVID-19, including leave taken by employees to receive or recover from COVID-19 vaccinations. The ARP tax credits are available to eligible employers that pay sick and family leave for leave from April 1, 2021, through September 30, 2021.

FDOH and Emergency Management Announce New Pre-Registration System For Covid-19 Vaccinations
The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County (FDOH-Osceola) and the Osceola County Office of Emergency Management encourage Florida residents to pre-register for a COVID-19 vaccination by visiting myvaccine.fl.gov. Currently, vaccine supply is extremely limited and the website lets residents save their place in line and be notified when new appointments are available in their area. Those without computer access may call 866-201-6507 or 833-476-1516 to pre-register.
Additionally, if you have already received your first dose, it may be necessary to reschedule your second dose. Call the FDOH-Osceola call center at (407) 552-0120 if you have not been contacted about rescheduling your second dose.

Re-opening of the Paycheck Protection Program
Update: Beginning Wednesday, February 14, the White House has instituted a 14-day period during which only businesses with fewer than 20 employees can apply for grants through the Paycheck Protection Program.
The federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) re-opened on Monday, January 11 with an additional $284 billion in funding from the latest COVID-19 relief package. This round of funding is open to new PPP borrowers and certain existing borrowers.

$900 Billion COVID Relief Bill Passes
In the midst of the holiday season, Congress did pass a second COVID relief bill. This package includes $600 payments to individuals making under $75,000, additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program, $25 billion in rental assistance, $15 billion for theaters and other live venues, $82 billion for local schools, colleges and universities, and $10 billion for child care.

New Rapid Credential Programs Connect Unemployed, Underemployed, and Furloughed Workers With Training For In-Demand Careers In Osceola County
The Osceola County School Board and Osceola County Board of County Commissioners have teamed up to provide new rapid credential programs to connect unemployed, underemployed, and furloughed workers with short-term training and industry certification for in-demand careers to help mitigate the negative impact of COVID-19 on Osceola County residents and the local economy. CARES Act Osceola County Emergency Economic Grant Relief Program

Understanding the impacts of COVID-19 on all sectors of our economy, including small businesses and non-profits, Osceola County is allocating funding received through the CARES Act towards an emergency grant program for locally owned and independently operated small businesses and non-profit entities within the county that have been negatively impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

CARES Act EIDL Loan
The Covid-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan is still open and accepting applications! Small businesses, including agricultural and nonprofit organizations, may be eligible for up to a $2 million loan. The loan offers a very low interest rate (approx. 3.5%) and is fixed for 30 years, with no pre-payment penalty. The funds may also be used for working capital needs and normal operating expenses. There were three business support programs, under the US Congressional CARES Act. The Employee Retention Credit was one of the programs.
